Let's have a swearing in, and not a coronation

It's curious that those who celebrated Democrat Bill Clinton's second term inauguration are now nit-picking and heel-biting the cost of the re-election inauguration of Republican President Bush. Just another example of the shallow politics of the two-party system, I guess, which brings up a nonpartisan point. Why not just swear-in the existing president for a second term, in the Oval Office, and be done with it? After all, coronations are for kings and queens, not elected American presidents. That's what the American Revolution was all about, wasn't it?
