HATE CRIMES:

Clinton, many elected representatives, government officials, the media, legal predators and social revisionist zealots are perpetrating hate crimes against large classes of the American people.

President Clinton vetoed the spending bill for the departments of state, commerce and justice simply because it didn't contain the sexual orientation, gender and disability hate-crime law he wanted. The validity of hate-crime laws notwithstanding, Clinton, many elected representatives, government officials, the media, legal predators and social revisionist zealots should be included among the perpetrators of hate crimes against large classes of the American people.

The social, legal and punishing tax war against the smoking class has been going on far too long. When California voters narrowly passed an annual $700 million tax on tobacco users and distributors, Rob Reiner proved that swiping 50 cents per pack from beleaguered smokers to fund his personal crusade and private empire was easy pickings in a lynch-mob environment. Fortunately, an initiative to repeal Reiner's license to steal has qualified for the March 7, 2000 ballot. Still, Clinton and his hatchetwoman Janet Reno hope to cash-in on the national smoking market with a $20 billion per year lawsuit against the tobacco industry.

Lawsuits against gun makers are being filed and more anti-gun legislation is on the way in the organized assault against gun owners. Taxation and confiscation can't be far behind. Indeed, the war plan is always the same: Demonize the targeted class, hold them up to public hatred and ridicule, file lawsuits against the producers (who pass the cost along to consumer), and it's legalized mass extortion against American citizens.

Now, they're beginning an organized move against fat people, which they say amounts to half the population, consuming 70 percent of medical costs and accounting for 300,000 deaths each year. Alas, the obesity epidemic alarm has been sounded, the evil eye is on the heavy people, and the class-action lawyers are drooling over potential lawsuits against the food industry, grocery stores, restaurants and fast-food chains.

Juan Valdez, Starbucks, coffee drinkers, plastic surgeons and ugly people should be getting a little paranoid by now. But consumers of alcohol needn't worry. The majority of people including social engineers might not be fat, smoke or own guns, but they do drink a few beers, fine wines and cocktails. Clearly, the madness won't end until the voters recognize the self-destruction and insanity of vigilante injustice.
