Effective immediately, the DDC will cease criticizing the Clintons...
Much ado about Clinton bashing has peaked and there's little more to be said, other than that he's a purely opportunistic public animal who fooled too many people when times were good.enough, and the majority of voters were few enough, to pull the political wool over their eyes, time after time, with impunity.
But before the Clinton legacy of self-absorbed, ruthless deceit is disregarded, a couple of things should be remembered: The Clintons sold the Democratic National Committee Chair to their ethically-challenged money man, Terry McAullife. And they're convinced they bought a round-trip ticket to the White House. So, until and unless Senator and Bill Clinton make their move toward regaining the presidency and re-infecting the office, enough said. They have simply become a waste of thought and energy.
Meanwhile, President Bush, Congress and state governments should get about the people's business, with primary emphasis on establishing secure, reliable, high technology standardized voting systems throughout the country before the 2004 presidential elections.
"Voters first" should replace all the self-serving political mantras of decades past. Clearly, the 2000 election debacle proved beyond a chad of a doubt that there's simply nothing more important to the survival of America than the fullest participation of a well-informed electorate.
