THE WAR AGAINST MALES IS OUT OF CONTROL

August 31, 2003

The troubling fact that the education establishment is favoring girls and giving Ritalin to boys, and that 56 percent of college students -- 60 percent of law students -- are female, is merely an eye-opener to a much deeper and disturbing problem of social aggression against males. Indeed, assisting and advancing girls in school, while drugging and holding back boys is only the tip of the Pavlovian iceberg.

When feminists set out to achieve equal rights for women it was an admirable, overdue, undertaking. But over the past few decades, radical elements of the movement escalated their efforts from equality to relentless superiority and dominance over males. And it hasn't stopped there. Sadly, the underlying goals of bitter women and extreme feminist organizations quickly turned to the ugliness of misguided revenge, punishing males and holding them up to public hatred and ridicule.

Those who doubt the adverse effects of "pink tyranny" need only to take a second look at how it has ruined relationships, families and children -- not to mention permeating the entertainment industry and television commercials, wherein women are depicted as smart, sexy and sophisticated, while men are consistently demeaned and portrayed as bumbling idiots.

The one-sided "war against boys" is simply out of control in what is becoming a superficial, feminized society of selfish interests and shallow extremes. And that's not what most boys and girls, and men and women really want.
