I am reading your web site with interest... but when I came to the part where you talk about President Clinton (news media section) "... simply panders to well known hot button and sensitive issues by repeatedly handing out candy that tastes good but won't last." ... I wonder if your group REALLY is what you purport to be: "... unfunded, unaffiliated non-profit group of independent nonpartisan citizens promoting direct democracy in America."?
While I may agree with what you say regarding voter apathy, and our country really being run by special money interests, your specific statement regarding the President make me suspicious as to your alliances...

>From your e-mail address it appears that you are connected to the military, so it is understandable that you may be offended by our comments about President Clinton, your Commander-in-Chief. However, the comments you refer to are tame compared to other comments about Clinton contained within our site. There is a simple explanation for that.
President Nixon and other presidents notwithstanding, history will surely reflect that President Clinton represents the best example of the worst presidents. Indeed, he is little more than a cunning manipulator, unworthy to hold the office of president or the title of Commander-in-Chief. If Clinton were a Republican, we would say the same.
The two-party system has evolved to the detriment of representative democracy, the republic and the people of the United States. The sovereign power of the people has been usurped by the power of selfish interests, political parties and the personal power of elected officials. Our only aim is to shift that power back to the people where it belongs.
If you would take the time to review the entire contents of our site, you would realize that we have no alliances but with democracy, the people and the voters of America simply because we are all citizens of this country.
