MEDIA-DRIVEN LIES DECIDED THE PRIMARY ELECTIONS
It should come as no surprise that Al Gore and George W. Bush are the two gladiators left standing in the 2000 presidential election arena. Indeed, as we predicted, media-driven lies, deceit and distortions decided the outcome of the primaries before the votes were counted, and the media will decide it again in November.

Alas, a loaded punch to the economy notwithstanding, the championship fight is fixed. Media puppet John McCain will use the Senate pulpit to referee the staged event, while the pundits humiliate Bush and the Republican Party self-destructs. Al Gore will be the next phony president and the fraud against the American people will go on with increased enthusiasm.

Wouldn't it be something if the disenfranchised electorate could imagine this? Nonpartisan presidential and congressional elections wherein candidates are required to tell the truth or be disqualified. Of course, that would require a constitutional amendment adding a truth element to the qualifications to hold the office of president, senator or representative.

Wouldn't that be better than the nausea of obnoxious party operatives, those pugnacious political pugilists, and the politicians pandering for the personal power of elective office by lying to get it and lying to keep it at any cost?
