HILLARY CLINTON'S 2004 PRESIDENTIAL SCHEME

Anyone who thinks Senator-elect Hillary Clinton isn't headed for the 2004 Democratic Convention with her $8 million book in hand lacks a modicum of common sense. Indeed, what is being touted as her "tell all" memoirs, scheduled for release in 2003, will instead be a blueprint for her presidential campaign.

One could easily conclude that Hillary's rise to political stardom wasn't simply hitching an opportunistic ride on Bill Clinton's presidential express. Rather, it happened because of calculated moves against her enemies.

How else could she have snatched the New York Senate seat away from Rudy? How else could Al Gore lose, removing her only real competition and leaving storm trooper Democrats to demonize and scuttle George W. Bush's presidency while she seizes the highground spotlight?

The first First Lady to run for office and win, and the first woman President, is Hillary's scheme. Clearly, she's changing places on the Clinton Express from conductor to engineer.

And the voters will hear a familiar theme, "two for the price of one," which means when, not if, she's elected, First Gentleman Bill will be cut loose to play his high-stakes political games. This time with even less accountability.

Alas, it will be too bad that Hillary and her minions will continue to manipulate the press and cheat the American people out of having a real leader as the first woman president. Instead, the United States will have a presidential imposter who will set women and government back with devastating blows of lousy politics and the abuse of power, just like her husband did.

Think it's a stretch? Watch and see it happen. The junior Senator from New York and the Senior Senator from California on the Democratic presidential ticket in 2004. And the nation will be more bitterly divided than ever......
