FEMINISTS HIJACK WAR AGAINST TERRORISM
November 28, 2001

Violations of women's rights notwithstanding, it is nonetheless troubling to realize that major support for the war in Afghanistan comes from feminists because of the Taliban's brutal history of repression against women, rather than the Taliban aiding and abetting Osama Bin Laden and Al-Qaeda's terrorism.

In other words, it is obvious that feminist leaders are more concerned about the plight of Afghan women than the attack on America, simply because what they perceive as terrorism against women and girls trumps everything else, including terrorism against Afghan men and boys, and the mass murders of Americans on our homeland.

It is self-servingly apparent that feminists are attempting to hijack the war against terrorism by turning it, not only into a feminist war against the Taliban, but a war against Islamic mistreatment of women. However, it should be considered that the ripple-effect of pushy foreign activism could easily turn into counter-swells that could come back against America as a tidal wave of rage.
